Project 360: Week 49
{336} Currently rereading.
{337} Fluffy and dried out goldenrod.
{338} Forgot to take a photo on Wednesday.
{339} I don't particularly enjoy knitting cables, but I sure do love the result. :)
{340} My KnitPicks order arrived, including this gorgeous merino/silk blend. It was half price during their recent sale!
{341} Some recent book purchases. I've heard such good things about the bottom two, and I've been wanting to read them for months. The Jane Austen devotional had been on my Amazon wishlist for quite a while, so I was glad to find it at the bargain bookstore for $3.99!
{342} We had a damp day with lots of freezing rain.
Two little notes to add to the end of this post:
KnitPicks is having a "Win Your Wishlist" giveaway! To gain another entry, I have to share my wishlist somewhere, so here's mine. If I won the contest, I would definitely pick one of the interchangeable circular needle sets. It's such a good deal and it would be nice to not have to keep buying circular needles in different sizes!
Also, there's a giveaway over at Single Handed Knits for a copy of Journey, a book of six lovely knitting patterns. The patterns were created by Shannon (one of my favorite knitting/sewing bloggers, who hosted the sweater knitalong that I participated in earlier this year) and Jane Richmond (who created the pattern that I knitted my first sweater from!). Be sure to check it out!

I recently bought Rules of Murder too!! But I haven't had a chance to read it, I'm really excited to, though.
ReplyDeleteI just finished the Cadence of Grace series and really loved it. Such beautiful storytelling. It's now one of my favorite series. I think you'll really enjoy them. : )
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on #339! I don't care much for knitting cables either. But they are worth it in the end. I cable without a cable needle as much as possible.
