{35} I met a deer in the woods while walking on Monday. Look at its ears! :) We stood there looking at each other for a while and I managed to get a few pictures before it ran off.
{36} Someone gave us a couple of roosters and hens, and it's been interesting to watch them interact (or more accurately, not interact) with all of our other hens.
{37} I have to admit I've been enjoying the warmer, almost spring-like, weather we had for a couple of days.
{38} Up close and personal with the chickens. :)
{39} Um...yeah. This is one of those days where I nearly forgot to get a picture.

{41} These two books cost me a total of exactly $1.05 at the Goodwill yesterday. I was thrilled to find The Mysterious Howling! It was definitely one of those amazing book finds, just because I've had the series on my wish list for quite a while. It's very often compared to Lemony Snicket, which makes me excited, and I once read it's like a combination of LS and Jane Eyre! How can that not be complete awesomeness?? :)

ReplyDeleteI know, isn't it? The blurb on the front of the book says: "The best beginning since The Bad Beginning," which I think is awesome. :) I loved the Series of Unfortunate Events...I really need to reread them!
