Vintage brooches.

On Saturday, me and my mom stopped by our local antique store. We mostly just look, but on that trip we actually found some cute vintage brooches. I bought one, and she bought me a couple for Christmas. When my grandma saw them, she gave me two of hers. :)


This is the one I got at the antique store...it was $5. The ones Mom got me were $1 and $3. They had some of these inexpensive ones, then some that were between $20 and $40. This one is so cheerful. :)

{I thought $5 was a bit much, but browsing on Etsy, it seems that we got a pretty good deal.}

My grandma gave me this one:

And this one. I think the flowers are gorgeous. :)

It seems that I'm growing a new collection...

    I have several vintage brooches from my grandmother on my mom's side of the family. I don't wear them often (not really a "pin" person), but I treasure the collection. You have the start of a nice one yourself! :)
