Progress!

Oh my goodness...this is when I seem to finally be making progress. :) Sewing the strips together is by far the most satisfying part of making a quilt so far, because it actually starts to look like a quilt. I am so excited!

With every row I add, though, my small sewing corner gets a little more cramped. When I start actually quilting it, I'm going to have to do it at the kitchen table, because there's no way it will fit here! Have I mentioned this is a queen size quilt?

Until next time,

  2. I just love the way the bits of fabric have come together. It is starting to look like a quilt! Congrats! (PS My favorite squares are the ones with Dorothy's ruby slippers!)

  3. Contemporary furniture, however, doesn’t refer to a specific movement. Contemporary furniture embraces the designs of our day, so its definition is fluid. It’s understandable, then, how much we confuse modern design with contemporary design.
