My favorite song? Good grief. Since I mainly listen to two different types of music (and because this is my survey and I can change the rules if I want, LOL), I think it's only fair that I pick two favorite songs, one from each category. But I have a feeling this is going to end with even more than two favorite songs. As far as modern music goes, my favorite song is probably "I Am Understood", by Relient K, from the album Two Lefts Don't Make a Right, but Three Do. I never skip over it on the CD or my iPod...I can always listen to it. And if I had any songwriting ability, I would be trying to say exactly what Matt Thiessen says.
Another modern favorite is Michael Buble's "Haven't Met You Yet."
My favorite old song is probably (this is pretty much impossible to decide) "I'll Be Seeing You," sang by Frank Sinatra (ew, ignore the incredibly bad picture of a young Sinatra-this is the only video I could find of this version).
More oldies favorites are "The Way You Look Tonight," also by Frank Sinatra (ignore the cheesy New York pictures) and "Isn't It Romantic?" (aka, the song from "Sabrina").
So, my "favorite song" turned into my favorite, what...5 songs? What can I say?
I love music.
What is your favorite song?
Until next time,

This is Really cool...I love it! Can I do it on my blog? I;
ReplyDeletePlus...would you happen to want a button made for this event?
I love your idea. I think you and I have surprisingly similar tastes, given that I am about twenty years (give or take a few) older than you. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll Be Seeing You makes me cry every time I hear it. I LOVE that song! It reminds me of my dad who died when I was only 3.5 years old.
Life is kind of crazy for me these days and I don't know how much I'll be online so I probably can't join in but I'll try to comment on here when I can.
