Semesters and a tag...

So, today was my last day of actual classes. I've got to go back two days next week, one day to take back an exam (which wasn't really an exam...more like a take-home test about the last few chapters) and one day to take my PSY exam. And honestly, while it feels good to be (pretty much) finished with my first semester of college, it's also a little weird. I mean, this is the first time in my life I've done the whole semester thing. I started being homeschooled before I got to high school, where you have semesters, but there aren't that many people. This is the first time where I've taken a class and got to know people for a few months, and then all of a sudden, it's finished. I still will have one of my same teachers, and there will be quite a few people in the child care program who I will have most of my other classes with again. But then there are people that I had classes with that I might never see again, which feels weird to me. I start thinking about what I said to those people and how they saw me. Did I have a positive impact on their lives in any way? Did I act a certain way or say anything that reflected Christ? Most of the time I probably didn't, and that's a sad thought. It makes me want to change. And there are people who I've met who were really funny, friendly, or unique, and it's sad to think that I more than likely won't have class with them any more.

I didn't mean to sound so depressing! I'm really not depressed. I'm relieved that school's almost over and I finally have free time. Not to mention I have about a hundred (it seems like it, anyway) Christmas gifts to make. I've only made three so far. Today I made two crayon holder/crayon roll things for my two little cousins, but I have to get something at Hobby Lobby tomorrow to completely finish them. I'll post pictures when they're done. Tomorrow I might start on Mom's stuff (which I won't be able to discuss or post pictures of until after the 25th, just to be safe). I've got so many ideas, and it's really exciting!

I was tagged by Bleah Briann with this shuffle tag, and I've honestly always wanted to do one of these. It seems so funny how the song titles end up with the questions. So here goes:

Are you male or female? "Boys (Lesson One)," Jars of Clay. Wow, totally creepy and untrue (unless I've been lying to all of you in the blogger world).

What do people feel when they are around you? "John Woo," Newsboys.

Describe your current relationship? "Sing It Out," Switchfoot.

Where would you like to be right now? "A Postcard to Henry Purcell," Pride & Prejudice soundtrack.

How do you feel about love? "You Are My King (Amazing Love)," Newsboys. Okay, weird.

Whats your life like? "Some Kind of Zombie," Audio Adrenaline. That made me smile. =)

What would you wish for if you only had one wish? "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been," Relient K.

Say something wise? "I Just Can't Wait to Be King," Lion King soundtrack. Sorry, I'm a Disney music fan.

If someone says "Is this okay. . ." You say? "Spaghetti Western (Instrumental)," Brad Paisley.

How would you describe yourself? "Bless Yore Beautiful Hide," Seven Brides for Seven Brothers soundtrack. Weird.

How do you feel today? "Turn on the Lights," Sanctus Real.

What is your life's purpose? "Meet Me In St. Louis," Judy Garland.

What is your motto? "We're Off to See the Wizard," The Wizard of Oz soundtrack.

What do your friends think of you? "Gone," Switchfoot.

What do you think of your parents? "The Wonder of You," Elvis.

What do you think of very often? "Sunday Bloody Sunday," Pillar.

What is 2+2? "I Love Your Ways," Newsboys.

What do you think of your best friend? "It Never Rains, but What It Pours," Judy Garland.

What is you life story? "Comatose," Skillet. Eesh.

What do you want to be when you grow up? "If You Believe Me," Relient K.

What will you dance to at your wedding? "Edelweiss," The Sound of Music soundtrack.

What will they play at your funeral? "Angel of Music," The Phantom of the Opera soundtrack. LOL.

What is your hobby/interest? "Lost the Plot," Newsboys.

What is your biggest fear? "Hands and Feet," Audio Adrenaline. LOL.

What is your biggest secret? "Andalasia," Enchanted soundtrack.

What do you think of your friends? "I'll Fly Away," Jars of Clay.

Until next time,
Kristin (missvintagegirl)
