So, today was my last day of actual classes. I've got to go back two days next week, one day to take back an exam (which wasn't really an exam...more like a take-home test about the last few chapters) and one day to take my PSY exam. And honestly, while it feels good to be (pretty much) finished with my first semester of college, it's also a little weird. I mean, this is the first time in my life I've done the whole semester thing. I started being homeschooled before I got to high school, where you have semesters, but there aren't that many people. This is the first time where I've taken a class and got to know people for a few months, and then all of a sudden, it's finished. I still will have one of my same teachers, and there will be quite a few people in the child care program who I will have most of my other classes with again. But then there are people that I had classes with that I might never see again, which feels weird to me. I start thinking about what I said to those people and how they saw me. Did I have a positive impact on their lives in any way? Did I act a certain way or say anything that reflected Christ? Most of the time I probably didn't, and that's a sad thought. It makes me want to change. And there are people who I've met who were really funny, friendly, or unique, and it's sad to think that I more than likely won't have class with them any more.
I didn't mean to sound so depressing! I'm really not depressed. I'm relieved that school's almost over and I finally have free time. Not to mention I have about a hundred (it seems like it, anyway) Christmas gifts to make. I've only made three so far. Today I made two crayon holder/crayon roll things for my two little cousins, but I have to get something at Hobby Lobby tomorrow to completely finish them. I'll post pictures when they're done. Tomorrow I might start on Mom's stuff (which I won't be able to discuss or post pictures of until after the 25th, just to be safe). I've got so many ideas, and it's really exciting!
I was tagged by Bleah Briann with this shuffle tag, and I've honestly always wanted to do one of these. It seems so funny how the song titles end up with the questions. So here goes:
