Flowers

This summer is getting hotter and hotter. I had longed for warm weather and spring and swimming pools. But after driving around in a hot car all day (the Beetle has black interior and the air conditioner isn't working right), I'm not so sure. I got in the pool yesterday, but it was chilly. I wish I had been able to get in today. Anyway, I noticed some different flowers blooming in Mom's flower bed.

Tomorrow, after church, we have the family reunion. It should be interesting, I guess. Some people I'm looking foward to seeing again; others, well... :)

I've been thinking about making a few things to try and sell at the Farmer's Market. Mom and Dad already go every week to sell our fresh eggs and pastured poultry. I've considered making some bags, pocketbooks, or aprons to take and sell. Maybe even some of those cute little things that hold clothes-pins...The only thing is that there are several other tables there selling "crafty" items, and I don't know if anyone would buy my stuff. Plus, would I be able to sell my items at reasonable prices and still make a profit? It would be a challenge...
